Dear friend-Shalom
and Warmest greetings to you in Yeshua our Redeemer.
I hope this letter
will find you well. Thank you very much for all your help by prayer fellowship
at the Throne of Grace
and financial
supporting of our ministry.
Your help is greatly
valued and is helping because of the
Power and efficacy of His Precious Blood!
Psalm 133:1 says: “Behold, how
good and how pleasant it is, for brethren to dwell together in unity!" (KJV).
When you help the work of this
ministry, you go with us to every street, house, Hospital. You are going to
witnessing and taking the Word
of God to the thousand Russian speaking Jewish and non-Jewish people
in our city, Israelites,
Muslims and others. Lord values your faithfulness. Everyone will have their
reward.
God promised this through
Abraham in Genesis 12:3. Faithful over a little will be set over much.
If you took a plough to your
hand you shouldn’t watch back. We will plow and sow this field with faith.
We believe that we will have a
good harvest. The flood of the Holy Spirit spreads around this land
and cleanses it. We are called
to do everything for the Lord. We believe, that purity and holiness
will be as a part of our born
again life in the Messiah. Thank you very much whom faithfully remember us.
Summer is a very interesting
time. The Bible is considering the “summer” as Grace of the Lord.
But Summer time is not forever.
Let’s together reach lost souls and spread the
Gospel until “summer time”
(Grace) is continuing.
In the May we witnessed by grace
of the Lord to more than 100 people. In the streets I met 2 women who
had lived in Israel. I tried to
witness to them. But they didn’t want to speak with me because I believe in
Jesus.
Another Jewish family laughed at
me when I told them that I believe in Yeshua.
One Russian Orthodox man also
didn’t want to speak with me because he said that I’m from the sect.
I met one Russian speaking
family from Israel and they accepted a Hebrew Scriptures from me.
Another family from India gave
me permission to give the Bible in English to their daughter who is only 8 years
old.
She is the only one who speaks
English in their family.
Please pray for her so that the
Word of God will bless all of them with power of salvation.
In the Beachwood Mall I met I.
who lives in Israel. She immigrated to Israel from Belarus and speaks Russian.
I witnessed to her, but she
didn’t take anything from me. Another Israeli took from me Hebrew Scriptures.
In the Greater Northern Mall I
met 2 Israelites who accepted a Hebrew Scriptures from me. One of them was
Russian speaking. In the same
mall I met 2 Muslim women with whom I had very good conversation.
The women told me that they
don’t believe that Jesus died and arose. I witnessed to them and they accepted
1 Bible and 1 NT in Arabic
language. In the Parma town mall I met a young lady from India.
She accepted from me a Jesus DVD
movie in Punjabi language.
During my flight from my mission
trip in Sacramento I met 1 young person who is student in Kent (Ohio)
University.
I had more than 30 minutes to
witness to him about Jesus as the Savior.
In the nursing home M. we had a
lot of blessings. I met an elder Jewish person S. whom I witnessed
a couple months ago and gave him
the Scriptures. He told me that he is continuing to read the Word of God
and is very interested about
Jesus. I also met one Russian Jewish family in the same nursing home whom
I witnessed and gave them
a Bible. I met R. who is 95 years old. She told me that she remembers
how nazi soldiers killed her 4
year old daughter because they are a Jewish family. But she still has a
son who is alive and is more
than 70 years old right now. In this situation it was very hard to witness.
But I know that only the Lord
can give peace. So I witnessed to her about Jesus as the promised
Messiah in whom we find refuge.
I also witnessed to more than
10 people in the same nursing home. One of the Jewish women
whom I witnessed started to
scream: don’t let him do this. I also had an opportunity to witness
publicly and answer the
questions I received from another Jewish person. When I shared about my faith
and who Jesus is, another Jewish
woman told me that she is so glad to hear this good news that Jesus loves
her, died and arose for her.
During my public witness, I saw that one nurse stood up and left.
After a couple minutes, 2
supervisors came and told me that I can’t speak about Jesus in a Jewish nursing
home.
They asked me to leave. I told
them that I came by an invitation of A. who is a part of our congregation.
The supervisor told me not to go
to any other people, but stay with people that invited me. I told them ok.
But after couple days, I got a
call from their director who is a Rabbi. The rabbi threatened me with arrest if
I
am going to come again to the
facility. I told him that I was invited by people. The Rabbi told me that I’m
not
allowed to come, and if I am
coming, he is going to call the police. Just recently I heard that they are
pressing A.
to let me know that she doesn’t
want to go with me to see her mother in the facility anymore. A. is very shocked
by attacking of the Rabbi and other Jewish people from the facility. All this
happened just before we wanted to baptize A. Please pray for A. and this
situation. We see how the devil attacks. I asked the Rabbi to send me an
official letter to explain what I did and why I cannot come if people invite me.
Thank you very very much for
your partnership with us, for your prayers and financial help.
If the Lord leads you to
start or continue help us financially, please send your donations to The Beth-El
Messianic Congregation, P.O. Box 360165, Cleveland, OH, 44136. We need your
help. Thank you very much for praying for my family, too. May the God of Israel
richly bless you. Shalom.
In Lord-Messiah Yeshua, Pastor
Igor.
