Tevet, 5772 --- January 12, 2012.
Dear Friend
Shalom and Warmest greetings to you in the Worthy Name of Him who is The
Glory of His people Israel and Savior of
the
World. Thank you for your friendship and partnership by your prayers and
giving for this ministry of reaching the
Jewish and non-Jewish people with the Word of God. Thank you for staying
with us in 2011. May the Lord- God of Israel
richly bless you in the new 2012 Year. May you have a Happy New Year. We
are praying for you all, realizing that we
need
each other to fulfill our Heavenly Father’s will at places where he put
us to serve Him. His will is to save the lost,
heal
the sick, bring deliverance to those who are bondage, preach the Gospel
and share the Good News with people. We
believe that this year, 2012, is another year of preparation for the
Church for the coming of Yeshua. In these days, the Lord
is
calling us to get closer to Him to hear His voice and get filled with
Holy Spirit every day and walk in obedience to His will.
In December 2011, we met and witnessed to more than 1100 (one thousand
one hundred) people. More than 1000 from
this
number I witnessed in Philadelphia when I was on my missionary trip.
Couple thousands brochures and some Bibles
were
distributed there. But about this work in Phila. , I’m going to write in
my next prayer letter, God willing.
In Portland, OR in the Lloyd Center mall I met one Muslim man with whom
I had a discussion. He is from the same
group
I had a discussion half a year ago. Those people were converted from
‘Christianity’ to Islam. I also figured out that
they
had Islamic missionary brochures which they distribute to the Americans.
The Muslim guy didn’t take anything from
me
that I offered to him. One young Muslim lady from Tunisia and an Arabic
man from Israel accepted from me brochures.
In
Clackamas Mall I met three Israelites. When I started to witness to
them, they started to have a dispute between
themselves
about Jesus. One of them was very against Jesus, another one was
neutral, and the other was just very quiet.
At
the end the person who was quiet and didn’t open his mouth asked me for
the Hebrew New Testament. I gladly gave it
to
him. A Turkish man accepted a NT and two other Christian books in
Turkish language. When we walked through the
mall,
I saw that the Turkish man opened the book I gave to Him and read it. In
the food court, I met a couple Chinese
people
who accepted from me one Chinese Bible and a couple brochures in Chinese
language. In Beaverton Mall, OR, I
met
three Israelites. Two of them recognized me because I witnessed to them
in Cleveland, OH. It was a great blessing that
they
even remembered that I witnessed to them about Jesus. The third one was
from Ukraine who immigrated to Israel with
his
parents many years ago. He speaks Russian. I witnessed to him, and he
told me that he thought about Jesus before. He
also said that when he
checked the prophecies he more believed that Jesus is the Messiah of
Israel. I was very blessed to
hear
this. He gladly accepted the Hebrew New Testament from me. There were
much more Israelites and people from
different countries we wanted to witness to in the mall, but
unfortunately somebody called the security on us and they came.
Security made photos of us,
and asked us to leave. We left.
In Vancouver mall,
WA I met one Iranian man. I thought that he is a Muslim, and witnessed
to him as for a Muslim. I
mentioned
to him that my father was a Muslim. I was shocked when the man told me
that he is from Iran, but he is Jewish.
I was
really surprised. So I told him that my mother was Jewish as well. It
was a surprise for him that I am from a Muslim-
Jewish background. Praise God that he accepted a Hebrew NT for himself,
and also he took from me a Gospel of John in
Persian language for his Muslim friend. I also met a lady from Mexico,
two Americans, and a Vietnamese people. Four
Chinese took from us one
Bible and a couple brochures. A man from India accepted NT. Another
American man whose
father recently died was
very appreciative when we shared with him about the hope we have in
Jesus Christ. I believe he
was
encouraged to read the Word of God.
In
Pittsburgh, PA in the Monroeville Mall I met one Israeli M. who has
business with Arabs. I witnessed to them and M.
accepted a Bible in Hebrew from me. In the same mall I met two young
Israeli women. When I witnessed to them, one of
them
said that she is not interested. But the second told me that she has a
friend in Israel who is a Christian. The lady
accepted a Hebrew New Testament from me. In the Chinese buffet we also
had an opportunity to witness to the Chinese
people
and they accepted 6 brochures in the Chinese language.
In
the Cleveland streets, OH I met people from Romania, Hungary, Armenia,
Poland, and sure I met the Jewish people.
An American Jew who I met
decided to accept a Bible from me even he said that he is secular. When
I went to my car to
take
the Bible, the man sat in his car, and when he saw that I am running
towards him to give the Bible, he pushed his pedal
more to have speed and drove
from me. If he could just imagine from what he was running from. He ran
from his salvation.
May the Lord richly bless you and thank you so much for your
partnership.
